Trump has already expressed his problems with the Otto situation to Kim personally. Even though Kim probably knew about it, you can't prove it. How would openly insulting Kim, on something you can't prove, be beneficial to anyone.

The Americans took several measures over the course of Otto's lengthy imprisonment to get him out.  Of course, Kim was fully aware.

Trump just stated he is in a bad position because he has to negotiate.  TRUMP IS WEAK !!  PRESIDENT REAGAN TOOK ON THE SOVIETS DIRECTLY AND DID THE SAME TO OTHER COMMUNIST AND DICTATORSHIP LEAD COUNTRIES.

Kim was fully aware of who Otto was but that doesn't prove he knew he was being tortured. 

There were no physical signs of torture to Otto's body. Does that mean he wasn't tortured? No. Does that mean I don't believe he was tortured? No.

Otto's condition could've, hypothetically, been caused by cardiac arrest. Considering he was probably malnourished, and had potassium (and who knows what else) deficiencies, it may not have been torture. I'm sure he was tortured. I'm not sure, however, there's enough evidence for Trump to call Kim out on his lies in a face-to-face meeting when Kim may have actually been lied to by his subordinates. 

You're overreacting because you want something to be upset about. By the way, the media (and many democrats) didn't agree with how Reagan handled the soviets, either.
