Fiesta Bowl thread: Okay Bortles...impress me.

Noticeably unremarkable. Got the same vibe when I scouted his SoCar game, but everyone was like "oh Kodiak you're a homer for Teddy."

We'll I guess his receivers are good at inflating his numbers.

Quote:They just showed mcshay the tard has bortles as the #3 overall prospect. That must be a joke or he is trolling.
I wouldn't take him over Manziel, Clowney, or Carr.

You have to take into consideration if it's an audible or if it was called in by the coaches, If he saw it and called the play in the two minute drill then he gets more credit than if he just gets the play call via headset.  I wasn't really looking before the snap if he made any changes or anything.

I haven't seen bortles make a single throw yet that screams "wow" what an NFL throw.

Don't you say the same things about Teddy Bridgewater?

Sorry, but I take what you have to say with the smallest grain of salt possible.

Quote:Whoever said the Baylor helmets would look good on a Jags uniform.........you're absolutely right. It would look frickin awesome. I'm kinda lukewarm on our helmets tho
I agree 100%. Have you seen the Washington Huskies helmets? Similar and very sexy.

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

TB doesn't wow you but at least he is solid and his mechanics and decision making are pretty good.

That was a pretty dumb joke then.

Admittedly this is only the 3rd game I've seen of him and while he's not awful, I don't see sure fire first round on this guy. I would think he would stay another year.

28-20 UCF Halftime. Granted Bortles is not playing his best but he is leading this team and they are up. Especially surprised with the UCF defense. I thought coming into this game that their defense would be suspect against an offense that puts up big numbers. I am wrong so far. I hope that Bortles gets in a groove and shows his stuff in the 2nd half......hoping for a good finish.

Gotcha. I'm in the UCF area, figured I'd ask.
