Washington lost, but I disagree with the poster that said they didn't belong there.

 

Defensively, they held up well against Bama.  Better than many SEC teams managed.

 

The Huskies have no reason to be embarrassed.

 

Not that they need or want my imprimatur, but I was impressed.  I recorded their game against Cal and I want to go back and watch it more than ever now.
 

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

I like that John Ross kid for Washington. Could be a nice replacement for Rashad Greene if we decide not to bring him back. I think he'd make a pretty good slot guy.

I hope Clemson puts another 17 on them the 2nd half and wins 34-0. Ohio State, not Washington, was the team that should not have gone to the playoffs. Penn State was the hottest team in the country, beat Ohio State head to head, and won the conference. Penn State vs. USC will be the 2nd best bowl game after Michigan-FSU (a classic). USC dominated Washington on the road, but 3 losses was too much to go to the playoffs. I look forward to that game on Monday and expect it to be a true barnburner- unlike the 2 boring playoff games today.
