I disagree. The last few seasons of the LA Rams in the 1990's were the closest thing to the Major League movies. 1990-1994. Georgia Frontiere was the epitome of those Indians owner form the movies. Maybe even worse....Killing her husband.

 

  Just from a football related standpoint,  one can certainly make the case that George Frontiere followed the ' Major League' path.  Yet,  I still feel she was a better ( relatively speaking ) overall owner with the LA Rams than Stan Kroenke was with the St. Louis Rams.   During the 1980's,  the LA Rams made it to 2 NFC Championship Games and made the playoffs a number of other seasons.   Also,  Frontiere at least spoke publicly during the LA Rams final few seasons before they moved to St. Louis.  '  Silent Stan' earned this nickname.

Too bad for them they didn't have much of a defense. Wherli was decent, but nobody else really stands out.

 

  The St. Louis Cardinals could have certainly used HOF CB Larry Wilson ( who already retired ) during the peak years of their great Offensive seasons in the 1970's.

Letting the waves in directly is far more efficient than Google, wouldn't you say?

 

The trick is getting the right kind of tinfoil to correctly calibrate to receive the waves you want and keep out those you don't.

Exactly!  I go to the library and pull periodicals and that is why I don't post as much as I use to.
