As far as Cook goes, just pass. Really good talent, but bad positional value, off field issues, and scary injury concerns...that's 3 strikes.


Barring something major unforeseen popping up, I don't see how Garrett, Allen, Williams, Adams, and Barnett isn't the ezpz big board for us to pick from.

Does Cook lack ankle flexion? What does his Spider chart look like? What does Justis Mosquito say about him?

Today showed a glimpse of what life would be like with a Cook style back. Grant in open field is extremely dangerous, but he's not nearly a strong and doesn't have the vision or patience Cook does. I'd be happy with him or LF7.

To me it's pretty simple - having a threat to score whenever they touch the ball is extremely important and extemely high value.  That is why I would draft Cook even in the top 10.  

 

The other option would be a good pass rusher if we can find one - but how likely is it that they become good, impact players?  Seems like pass rushers (at least for this team) are kind of hit-and-miss.
