From what I gather they need interior DL or CB With Byron Jones leaving in free agency, corner would make sense here... Damon Arnette CB OSU? or perhaps Justin Madubuike IDL Texas A&M? Rams need a lot of things but I think the need a RB the most if they want any chance this year, not sure if Henderson is the guy.. I vote JK Dobbins

We pause this ***Official***Message Board Mock Draft for this message:
This may be the best draft thread every year. One part of it is that it hasn't devolved into a fight between posters and everyone in here knows the players, the teams, and what they are doing. I think the best part, though, is that you are teaching us on the sidelines about the players in the 2nd and later rounds. We in the stands all know the first rounders and many of the second but after that...not much, so this is good stuff. Anything you can add to a pick is appreciated- position, school, any details you have on the guy is helpful. For instance, the names Duggar and Arnette are new to me...be good to pick up some quick info on them from you- nothing extensive. And now, back to the ***Official***Message Board Mock Draft....
Season Ticket holder since 2004.

Rams have so many holes I don't think they have the luxury of spending their top pick on a RB. Henderson and Brown is a decent tandem.
I am a big fan of Dobbins though if they did make the pick I think he'd be pretty darn good for them. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

With the 56th pick, the Miami Dolphins select Curtis Weaver, DE, Boise State. Dolphins and new DC Josh Boyer want to mix a 4-3 and 3-4 scheme.
Weaver is an EDGE defender. Speed pass rusher, strong first step. High football IQ, he was very productive this season (19.5 TFL, 13.5 sacks). Also a good run stopper. Can play OLB in a 3-4 scheme and drop into coverage but his weight (265 lbs for 6'3) could be a problem in the NFL. That's why he might be better as a pass rusher in a 4-3 scheme. Doesn't generate turnovers (only 1 FF). Rams (vote) are on the clock (since Bill O'Brien brillant trade...) |
