Questions arise about Trump's mental health.

Quote:So, one person tells you about a horrific event in her childhood, you don't ask for more details but still arrive at the conclusion that raping girls is practiced by a significant number of migrant Mexican men.

If that's not bigotry, I don't know what is, but it goes a long way towards explaining your support of Trump. He pushed the right button.

It's not bigotry.

It's prejudice.

Or both, if his prejudice narrows his point of view. Either way, something Trump said spoke to it.

Quote:Here is where you liberals are wrong again.  How is his campaign "bigoted"?  All I witnessed right here is a Trumpette that is racist, but that doesn't define all Trumpettes.

As I said earlier, it's a choice between the lesser of two evils.  I'll take someone who hasn't broken the law or compromised national security over someone who has done just that and got away with it.

I agree with the lesser of two evils thing...  I just can't believe you're closing your eyes to all the garbage that this campaign has done over the last year.  I mean, there are so many speeches he's made denegrating Mexicans, Immigrants, and Muslims, the advertisment that was anti-semetic, the fact that it took him a week to disavow David Duke after first claiming he didn't know who he was, I mean if you can't see it, you can't see it...

But it's there.  and even Republicans are beginning to see it and jump ship...

Quote:A significant portion of the men are. It is part of the culture to have sex with young girls. You can call it rape or pedophilia. I knew a (white) woman who grew up in rural California. She was attractive but has no interest in sexual relations and told me why. There was an abandoned car on the farm where the workers would take the young Latino girls. She was about the same age as the girls being raped but, being white, was "off limits". So she would go into the car and hold hands with the girls as they were being serviced by her "uncles". It kinda turned her off to the whole idea.

Dude. No. Wrong. Stop.

You are embarrassing yourself again.

I understand anecdotal evidence is not empirical evidence.  It's like when a black man talks about how white people cross the street at his approach, or how store security follows them around because they wear a hoodie.  People hear this and agree that society is racist, even though this is not overt evidence of racism.

So I don't ever want to hear individual tales of racism, sexism, or any other prejudice.  According to the standard on this board, it means the person speaking is the racist.

Quote:His policies are pretty good. He understands the issues and will surround himself with people who can figure out the process of implementation.

You don't believe that - hence the "pretty good". You are scared.
