I think the plan is for him to play end not tackle. But his versatility to play inside as well adds value.

This is big FA add. Most exciting move this off season. We are clearly winning the off season.

What else is new?  Jags have spent more on free agents since 2011 than anyone else in the NFL, and they have the worst winning percentage in that same time period.

Yeah on obvious passing downs..  get him inside with our young guys outside..  could be a positive impact with the corners we have as well.  Hopefully the TE won't burn us over and over again.

Because agreeing to the contract in principal can be done right away but working out the details, executing the contract, and making the official announcement could take a few days.   Until the contract is officially signed, either party can walk away.
