It appears they pretty much stay angry anyway. If I recall I was pretty happy as a child. These kids are all bound up. Just not right to be so mad when they are still prepubescent. I expect once real life worries start to hit them the Jags woes won't hurt so much.

 

One fan's angry is another's apathy.  This is a message board?  It isn't like we are going to the stadium to melt down the jaguars sculpture over any of this.  I am a little tired of the rah rah but not totally off the deck of the titanic yet.  I'm going to stay with the rest of the band and just keep playing.

 

The season will play itself out and we will wave goodbye to some more players and then work on getting new ones in to be mad at 2-5 years from now.

 

This is a nice distraction from the real world and all that entails.

Did you read Marcedes' comments?  If that's not apathy, I don't know what is.  It's not always about winning and losing...it's about the process.   Come on.  Haven't heard one player or coach talk about losing being unacceptable.  Until it's made perfectly clear that winning is the only goal, then yes...apathy is exactly what I call it.  They don't care if they win or lose as long as they are following the process.

You have not been listening then. Bradley on numerous Press conferences has said winning is the goal and losing is unacceptable. These guys have played the game for their entire lives. They know the goal is to win. to think otherwise is ignorant.

 

If Bradley perceives Marcedes attitude as apathetic, he will bench him. Basically already has.

I won't do all the research as to how many times Gus has spoken to this. It's all out there. Again, if you believe that the players need to be told winning is the goal and losing is not acceptable then you must also believe that Caldwell has failed? You must also believe that these guys made it to the highest level of the game without the core driving force of competition? OK then.
