I had never received a polling call until this year, which I have received multiple.

I make it a point to inform the pollster I am voting Democrat. I also respond to the political text messages from a position of pro-Democrat.

I like to skew results.

So you know there are people who spend ten of thousands of dollars making thousands of phone calls to find out the truth, and you lie to them? Not to protect yourself or anything, not to gain any money or status, but just for your own amusement?

No, because I don't think anyone "won" that debate.  They both managed to cite their own talking points, and avoid making mistakes.  

I guess in a way she won, because the debate will not change the trajectory of the race, which is tilting pretty heavily towards Biden.   If her goal was to not make any kind of huge blunder, then she accomplished that.

It was a dance. While both have an obligation to present their points of view, it's never far from their minds that neither wants to go down in flames defending another person.

I think people filtered the debate through the fact both of these people are VP's for the oldest candidates in history and could become our eventual president.

Looking at it through that lens, last night becomes more clear to most people.

I turned the debate off after about 30 minutes. Pence is robotic. It was hard for me to watch him talk. The few times they got into the weeds, I thought Pence did an adequate job of stating the facts. Harris was more relatable, but empty. I don't really see what they are running on other than they aren't Trump. When asked specifics, she dodged. It amazes me how easily the American people are gaslit, though.

Trump's messaging on covid needs to improve. Democrats need to be called out more on the economy.
