1.Trevor Lawrence has a day to remember. They weren't numbers that jump off the stat sheet, but the Jaguars' quarterback turned in his most complete performance in what was his 19th career start. Lawrence completed 25 of 30 pass attempts for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the win, and his composure was a glaring improvement compared to last week's outing in Washington. Aiding that effort were the designed quick throws for Lawrence, who executed the plays decisively and accurately. Lawrence spread the ball out to seven receivers and found Christian Kirk (six receptions, 78 yards) on both of his TD throws. The former No. 1 overall pick's day wasn't perfect -- with an errant throw getting dropped by a Colts defender in the first half and the Jags offense having three three-and-outs in the fourth quarter -- but it was a reassuring display you want to see from the face of the franchise.

I like his rollouts because he can extend the plays this way. It started to look like being in the pocket during the long developing plays was bad so doing it this way is better.

Probably the best composure I've seen him in a jags uniform. If he can maintain that next week we have a chance at winning, but we've never played well on the west coast

I think he just had some nerves for the first half of the Commanders game.

He was money all day today man. A couple passes were close to being picked off but overall, no bad decisions

And even those two passes that could have been picked off were on the money. Both of them would have hit the receiver in the chest if the DB doesn't make a play on it.

Agreed and I liked the fact he took what the D was giving him. If it's a 7 yard completion then that will do. Not trying to force it or get a big play. But as soon as Gus tried to go one safety on passing, Lawrence went deep and they went back to 2 high. 

Got to credit Doug for fixing the problems from last week and Oline did a good job giving Lawrence enough time to make his reads and get the ball out clean. 

Next week will be a good challenge.

Bro he was two lucky drops by colts defenders away from having a 2 int game, and it wouldnt have mattered because our defense won this game for us. Please see jax vs colts week 7 2017. Blake bortles had 330 yards 1 td 0 int and we won 27-0 basically the same exact game…. Was blake bortles magically a good qb after that performance?
