I can laugh at my team with the rest of the country. I don't get butt hurt about how sucky the NFL team I root for is.

 

One day, they'll be good. And I'll get to see it.

Heck, maybe I'll even get to see a Superbowl winning Jags team.

 

But if not, I join hundreds and thousands of others who have been fans of sports teams that have been perennially bad and not won any Superbowls.

Bengals fans haven't had a playoff win since before we had a franchise.

Browns fans....

even the tinhorns were playoff victory-less until most recently.

Seahawks were an afterthought of a team until Hasselbeck and Alexander took em to a SB, then they fell off again until striking gold with Wilson and Lynch and the LOB.

I won't do all the research as to how many times Gus has spoken to this. It's all out there. Again, if you believe that the players need to be told winning is the goal and losing is not acceptable then you must also believe that Caldwell has failed? You must also believe that these guys made it to the highest level of the game without the core driving force of competition? OK then.
