Cooper, Fowler, or Beasley are the 3 I would be really happy with. Anyone else would be meh IMO

So which one do you think will be the pick if all 3 are available?

Beasley with the 6th pick after a trade with the Jets. Redskins take Fowler at 5.

Seriously question. Would you guys be upset if we took Cooper with Williams on the board? I remember last year Caldwell said he would take Bortles even if Clowney was available.

Tough question, I dont think it will be Cooper.  If Dave and Gus wants a pure Leo, Beasley will be the pick.  But if Gus feels he wants to get more creative and take the best player, Fowler will be the pick.  The only thing Beasley can do better than Fowler IMO is beat his guy on the outside with a speed rush.  Outside from that I think Fowler has him beat in every other area along with every other pass rushing moves.  When Beasley goes up against some of these top pass blocking OT that are light on their feet and he cant beat them with a speed rush to the outside I think he could run into a problem as to where Fowler has a bigger repertoire and can over power or beat with speed if he wants to mix it up and line up inside or blitz at any of the LB spots.

Jaguars will trade out with the Eagles and select Todd Gurley with the 20th overall pick.

I've got a nice 91% accuracy rate to back that up.  :whistling:

Beasley is going to be a 12-18 sack per year edge rusher. imho. We need that sorta desperately.

I do, however, believe that Eli Harold can have similar success as a LEO in this system. Very similar height, weight, speed and production as Vic Beasley. Similar skillset as well. Trade back, draft Gordon. Take Harold and Dorsett in the 2nd

Yes.

I can't see it happening though.

The best argument for picking Cooper is that he's a safe choice, but so is Williams. And I think we are more likely to pick the defensive player If all else is equal.

Cooper or Fowler ? Harder choice, but I'd still go defense.

Right now I'll go with Dante Fowler, I reserve the right to change this up until the day of the draft.

I'm starting to think it will be Beasley, even if Williams is there.

Williams ,White, Cooper will be sufficient. No Gene Smith surprises please.

Worst case scenario:

Bucs Williams

Titans Cooper

Jets Mariota

Raiders White

Redskins Winston

Jags Beasley

I've learned there are no "safe choices" when you are a Jaguars fan.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Lol this has about a .00000000000000001 chance in happening.

I'm at the point where I'd actually be a bit upset if Fowler is the pick. He'll be a good player, but I really think Beasley will be an elite rusher. Beasley or Williams, leaning Beasley over him too now
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS
