 Great competition again!   I'm nothing short of amazed at what transpired in yesterday's epic Super Bowl.  Though my team wasn't in the game for the 51st consecutive time,  this year's Super Bowl was quite a birthday present for me as an NFL fan.   I'm thrilled I lived long enough to see an OT Super Bowl.

I assumed you were rooting for New England because Atlanta being there meant Detroit was not. From an entertainment perspective alone, it was a great game.

 

Here is a laugh for your special day: A dentist stopped me in the hall as I was taken back to a chair this morning. He asked me how I have been doing. I said, "I'm mad about the Patriots winning." He walked away apologizing for rooting for the Patriots. (I forgot he graduated from Tufts University.) When my dentist came in the room near the end, she asked me, "Do you have anything that is bothering you?" My teeth do not bother me, so I had to say this: "The Patriots." She laughed and replied, "I should have known not to ask you that," then left the room without looking in my mouth LOL. (BTW I don't have any cavities.)

 

An overtime Super Bowl was inevitable. How it happened was totally unexpected. It's crazy that none of the first 50 Super Bowls went over 60 minutes.
