I hope we can draft 2 of the 30 visits we get

Quote:Wont this be Cooper and Gordon's 2nd visit? If we got Cooper in the 1st and Gordon in the 2nd the offense would be much more explosive. Throw in Julius Thomas with an improve oline on top of that. [Image: drool.gif]

Cooper and Gordon would be awesome, IMO.

Considering if we used all 30, and there are 35 picks before our second, one of which is ours.... I don't see how we wouldn't

I think A. Cooper has a strong chance at being the Jacksonville Jaguar's 3rd overall pick in this draft.

Your thoughts....

Idk. Personally I just don't see it. I'm not opposed to it, but I just think its going to be Williams or Beasley

Winston might have another rape charge causing the Bucs to draft DL Leonard Williams, and either Winston or Mariota will probably go #2 (if a team doesn't trade up since its a weak QB class draft).

That leaves the Jaguars probably trading down but if they don't I see a GM whom has drafted offense two years in a row in the 1st round, an offense that stunk last year & the OC was fired.

Thus leaving a new OC with wanting a great player to assist his plan.

The GM Dave Caldwell had stated the team has no real WR (#1) on the team prior to letting Cecil Shorts III go to Texas in Free Agency.

Cooper is the least risky among some of the top 5 prospects and meets a need as a deep threat WR giving Bortles another weapon, plus Jaguars WR plagued with injuries last year it wouldn't hurt to add another WR since the one

they got in FA is really just a special teams guy.

I think likely hood of Dave Caldwell drafting Cooper is high.

The website posted interviews of the guys who visited this week.  Good stuff.

Last year they interviewed these guys in a hallway.  This year the production value is vastly improved.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Now, let me preface my following statement here: I have never been a Sexton basher, even though I have conceded that his role could definitely be upgraded. I never really saw the sense in it I guess.

That being said, it is sad how the mix of the top notch production qualities of that video and Sexton's cocky awkwardness came across. He doesn't seem likeable in any way, and I honestly don't want to watch any more of those videos just because I don't want to listen to him ask some insanely mundane questions.

I think I'm done with Sexton.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Brian Sexton seems like a guy that's being kept around simply for old times' sake.  He offers nothing interesting to the table.

In fact, I think Frank Frangie is a generally more likeable guy.  Even though his skill as a play-by-play guy is poor, I tend to enjoy him interviewing and talking about sports way more than Sexton.

Sexton is 10x the play-by-play that Frangie is, but based on Frangie's time at 1010, he certainly seems like a better interviewer than Sexton.

Sexton is so pretentious in these interviews. Almost seems like spoof interviews where he's edited into the same room as the player

Reminds me of Mike Rowe on the Deadliest Catch sister show.  Mike is much better at voice over than he was on camera.  Now that the captains are the hosts of the show, it's better.

Sexton is certainly better at play by play than interviewer.

But we must remember, this is his baby.  Part of the reason the production is much better overall is that it's his new gig.
