Happy birthday D6!  Last year, I believe I called you one of the few true class acts on the MB.  It got me and others thinking about what defines a class act.

 

Class is defined by how you treat others that have different ideas than you.  Class is defined by how you handle criticism, warranted or not.  Class is being consistent, month in, month out, year after year.

 

After a year of consideration, you still meet the definition.

 

Hope it was a good birthday, and looking forward to that Lions/Jags Superbowl!

Your thoughts and support mean more to me than words can ever describe. 

 

As much as being popular feels good,  for me that has to take a backseat to what I believe is right.  At the same time though,  I try to have discussions without personal attacks.  We can agree to disagree.  There are times when I remain firm in my opinion but learn from getting a different perspective.  Unless someone goes way over the line,  hopefully things will remain civil in discussions even if there are major disagreements. 

 

Another key from my vantage point is on this MB  it's a privilege to be able to participate here.  I've taken that approach for over 12 years.   As much as I would like to add certain thoughts and facts to some discussions,  the COC,  the efforts of the Administrators and Moderators,  and the importance of this MB to the Jacksonville Jaguars fan base are kept in mind.   I've had the pleasure of meeting a number of people on this MB that still participate,  some that no longer participate,  and very sadly one person ( Dav ) who passed away.    I regret never meeting Fargin, who I will always have a tremendous amount of respect for.    Everyone I have met provided me with great memories.  

 

Hopefully a Lions-Jaguars Super Bowl will occur in the foreseeable future!
