Why not go with a theme? 

Seattle and New England... hmmm... both have a lot of seafood

 

For example New England is known for Lobster...

You could do Lobster rolls, lobster bisque (cheaper), or as an app.

For Seattle (Salmon) like a dip if going with Lobster Roll as a main dish, or smoked Salmon.

 

When the Giants were in it, I ate a 6-inch ham and cheese sub from Subway during the game because Justin Tuck is in the company's commercials.

 

The same thing happened last year with Papa John's pizza (extra cheese, pineapple, mushrooms, and bell peppers) because of Peyton Manning.

those generally have rice, pine nuts, and ground beef as well as some other seasonings and are covered in a lemon sauce.

I've got a few things going on...

 

I want to brine some ribs and then cook them up in the smoker. I don't typically do a lot of barbecue sauce with smoked ribs.

 

Since the smoker will be going, I'm gonna have to throw some wings in there as well. And that also means that I'm going to have to make some new sauces. I got a pretty good garlic Sriracha sauce, but I want to try to make a Ginger/Asian style sauce. Just not  teriyaki.

 

Will probably do baked jalapenos stuffed with a Gouda/cream cheese combination as well.

 

As for dessert, I'm going to try "mug" brownies. Just put brownie mix into a coffee mug, microwave for about a minute and serve! The formulae are as follows:

• 4 tablespoons brownie mix / 2 tablespoons water - 1 minute
  
• 6 tablespoons brownie mix / 3 tablespoons water - 1:15
  
• 8 tablespoons brownie mix / 4 tablespoons water - 1:30

I'm having whatever is being served where I'm going. I don't know where that is yet but I'm sure it'll be good times. Hopefully my brother's house, but may end up with the in-laws.
