How do I find the right size again? Google only tells me image sizes in DPI, not pixels (which seem to be what I am supposed to look for).

I don't know how well paint works, especially with different image formats.  I use Linux and have a built in application that allows me to right-click on an image or group of images to resize them.  The underlying software should also work on a mac.
