What makes Gregory better? Because all the mock drafts during the season had him rated higher? I watched them both play and Gregory is just a big tall athletic guy but he doesn't play hard every play. Fowler, Ray and Williams plays hard every play and are just as productive, Fowler is a top ten pick, what does it matter if he goes 3 or 8. 

 

So you think it is OK to reach for Dante Fowler if all NFL scouts say he is not a top five pick?

Based on what? Potential? Potential gets your fired, we need guys whos ready to play right now, the whole thing is a crap shoot anyways, they are both rated pretty close, give me the guys who plays hard in that situation.

What makes you think Gregory doesn't play hard? Gregory played almost all of the season with several various injuries that he easily could have sat through and no one would have questioned it. I will go watch him a lot more in the coming months, but as of right now I have no concerns with his motor/toughness/desire/etc nor have I heard anyone I respect voice those concerns either.

I like Daniel Jeremiah, but this looks like your classic contrarian mock. No risk in throwing something wild out early on in the process that will get you more attention, but I would be pretty surprised if he is this out there when it comes close to draft time.

It's just part of the process. People get way to bent out of shape with mock drafts this early. Like you mentioned, as we get closer to the draft Jeremiah/Mayock/Kiper/McShay and whoever else puts out mocks will all fall inline a little closer to what will probably happen. Of course nobody is really ever close to what eventually transpires which is good and makes the draft exciting to watch.
