Heard Rex wants to keep him while also hearing Rex plans to bring his defensive staff from the jets with Thurmond as dc

 

I would be very surprised if Jim Schwartz remains with the Bills under this scenario.   Even remaining as dc under Rex Ryan,  that would reduce Schwartz's chances of getting another NFL HC job in the next few seasons.   Let alone if Dennis Thurmond takes over as dc.   My guess is all parties will agree to move on,  with Schwartz heading to the Redskins or elsewhere.

Greg Roman according to Schefter

 

 It's possible ( far from definite ) that this means that Gus Bradley offered Marc Trestman the opportunity to be Jaguars Offensive Coordinator and that Trestman prefers that opportunity compared to one in Buffalo.   Hence,  Rex went to plan B.   Time will tell.

Kinda surprised to see him land in the same division. I feel like Greg Roman is an odd pick for him but maybe it'll work out even tho they failed to have a QB at the moment.
