Quote:That isn't the same Brandon Marshall that played for the Jaguars.

Why do you say that?

In addition to Shack and the 4 Lions Defensive players,  the Lions also have 3 Assistant Coaches that were previously Assistant Coaches with the Jaguars:

Special Teams Coordinator  John Bonamego  ( was on Mike Murlakey's staff )

WR Coach Robert Prince   ( was with JDR for a couple of seasons )

Assistant O-Line Coach Bobby Johnson ( was on Mike Murlarkey's staff )

I recall that he was signed by the Jaguars as an UDRFA.   Off the top of my head,  I don't recall him being on the Jaguars 53 man regular season roster but i'm confident many others would know if he did.

Now we are up to 22.

There are many reasons for that and not all of them are bad. I am not complaining.

The only one of those I remember is Winston Guy, but I will take your word for it.

Why isn't he in Jacksonville anymore?

When the Jaguars played at Pittsburgh in 2011, Blake missed the plane ride home. Instead of getting the next flight out, he just decided to play for the Steelers.

Connolly was with the Jaguars for a year or two out of college, then found his way to the Patriots.

Love was here in 2013; surprised you don't remember him. He's the guy who developed diabetes and was then cut almost immediately by the Patriots.

Blake was a pretty good special teams gunner, but found himself caught up in the numbers game prior to week one of the 2013 season. Come to think of it, he might actually have been the guy cut so Guy could be claimed.

Ross is the player who famously equated his time playing for Jacksonville to a paid vacation.

I did not know we had a guy who developed diabetes. If that was why he lost his job, the Patriots broke employment equality laws because Jay Cutler has it too.

Not all businesses have to follow equality laws.
