Quote:Some people never learn. A bunch of pain freaks who set themselves up for disappointment every Sunday. This team is 1-9 for a reason and yall act like you haven't watched these games to see how they got there. This isn't breaking news that the Colts are beatable, but thinking the Jags are gonna do it is ignorant.

I havent been dissapointed in this team since 2007. I really couldnt care less. I could be miserable and say every week "wah wah we suck were gonna get blown out". But for the 3rd time this year im going out on a limb. Im 1-1 so far. We'll see what happens Sunday.

I don't like our chances, but I'll still be watching. Colts still have a pretty decent defense, although they were exposed in the steelers and patriots games.

I don't think they're defense is "decent" at all, they have decent corners that have a tendency to struggle if they're forced to play off coverage, they don't have good safeties, they don't rush the passer well, and they can't stop the run. Their defensive stats have been inflated by playing against 3 of the worst offensive teams in football (Jags, Texans, and Titans).

We're unstoppable on our first offensive drive of the game.

If we get Linder back, I like our chances of running the ball, especially with Marcedes back. The colts will get a good pass rush against us. It's inevitable.

So because NE slowed them down.... people think we can?

That NE team is one of the most talented teams and they have arguably the best coach in the game. We have a bad coach and one of the least talented teams in the league.

Oh and not to mention it's in Indy with them coming off a bad loss. Should be a recipe for a 45-13 game.

The only way the Jaguars win this game is if they run the ball (extremely well) and stop the run, if we run the ball it will slow down that pass rush.

Agreed. Denard will have to go off, and Toby and Todman will also have to produce. Without Allen robinson, I expect bortles to keep struggling.

Quote:NE also had Revis on their team to turn Reggie Wayne's part of the field into a vast wasteland that no QB would dare to throw anything remotely risky into.

The Jaguars don't have the luxuries on the roster that allowed NE to execute a plan that allowed the colts 20 points.

If the Jaguars manage to hold the colts to only 20 points there's still a good chance the team doesn't win because they keep doing really dumb things like turning the ball over and refusing to throw down the field.

Revis is why Luck couldn't throw. He blanketed Wayne and the Pats doubled TY. That left Fleener. He had a big night but it didn't effect the score. We don't have a shut down corner. They did lose Bradshaw, so they are only going to be throwing. Maybe we can hold them, if BB does well.

I think the Jaguars will be able to do a decent job on the colts from a defensive perspective, but I don't know if 20 points is realistic or if it's realistic to think the offense can keep up with the colts to any significant degree.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jaguars hold the colts under 30 with the colts having to actually play hard into the fourth quarter to secure a win, but I would be surprised if the Jaguars manage to pull off an upset on the road.

The Colts have too much offense and we not nearly enough to be competitive in this game. Since Bradley has taken over the Colts have owned us and I expect the same thing this week. Colts win by 15.

I want to be hopeful, but I am not. We will likely be out of the game by halftime.

If we stay within 2 scores I will be very surprised!
