It might snow if we win.

A very hot place might freeze over if we win.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

I don't expect snow but it will be quite chilly. As of right now its 30 so it will be a bit cold.

Perfect except for the temperature. But what does a cloudless sky have to do with high pressure?

While today's Jaguars game won't be anything like this weather wise,   one of the most impressive performances I can recall with the Jaguars in the last 10 years against a good team was the way the Jagaurs Offense imposed their will against the Steelers Defense in the snow several years ago.    The Jaguars might have had the longest drive in terms of the amount of plays in that game in that entire NFL season.

I have no memory of that. What happened?

The Jaguars beat the Steelers in the snow in a December game that went along way in the Jaguars qualifying for the playoffs.  Fred Taylor had a triple digit rushing game and the Jaguars team had over 200 yards rushing that afternoon in Pittsburgh.   Despite being a team based in Northern Florida,  the Jaguars were built for the winter elements.  That was a playoff caliber performance!

The fact that the Jaguars beat the Steelers on the road in the playoffs a few weeks later spoke volumes of how good that Jaguars team was.

That happened in 2007, not 2004.

I didn't mention 2004.   In the other message,  I used a 10 year time frame to illustrate the extent of how impressive that the win in the snow at Pittsburgh was for the Jaguars.

Seriously?

This is something you'd probably learn the first day of a meteorology 101 course. Basically, high pressure forces clouds away.

It also creates turnovers and generally poor offensive play by the opponent.
