Mark Barron traded to the Rams

Quote:What would irritate me were I a Bucs fan is they spent so much on the secondary over the past few years all for nothing.  They spent a first round pick on Talib then let him go.  They traded a first round pick (IIRC) for Revis then let him walk.  They spent a first round pick on Barron and just traded him.  They acquired Dashon Goldson and then Alterraun Verner.  After all of these moves, their secondary is still in flux.

This is the problem with changing coaches so often.

In addition to what you mentioned,  the Bucs gave then UFA CB Eric Wright a lucrative contract in 2012. That decision didn't turn out for them either.

It appears that way now, but the mankins trade earlier in the year now makes absolutely no sense.

Quote:Are you guys kidding? Marron looked very good last season. Barron is hardly the only defensive player looking subpar playing with the Buccs. That defense SHOULD have been very solid with acquisitions of Verner, Johnson, and Barron. A change of scenario will be good for the kid and you're going to look silly for not thinking he was worth a 4th and a 6th.
if you needed a SS I agree, but not for a FS. I we didn't have Cyp I would do it. I think he would thrive in our scheme
