I got a date tonight

Quote:Wish me luck and of course give me some good pointers. We've really hit it off well so far in our talking for the week and have a lot of similarities thus far. I'm doing something unique and fun aka Dave and Busters'. I figured that a place with some arcade, pool, and drinks in addition to food would be a pretty good place.

I'll warn you...

I had my first date with who became my wife at D&B.

Don't let that happen to you!  Tongue

Of course, if by "Never fail" you mean "Get her somewhere that no one will notice when the roofie kicks in" then you've chosen well! :woot:

It has a high success rate because you can comfortably sit in Al's, eat and get a nice buzz going and by that point, you'll know if you're in or not. If you think you're in, hit the beach for a late night stroll. I'm batting 1000. with that method.

If you have access to a boat this could come in handy

I guess it's all about the personalities involved.

For me, Dave and Buster's isn't exactly my thing, and anyone that I would be interested in dating would probably be the same way.

On a Friday evening with nice weather like today's, I would opt to maybe go watch a high school football game and have some hotdogs/beverage.  Afterwards maybe go grab a few drinks in a casual place, perhaps with some live music.

The whole key would be to do something that both she and I like and makes us comfortable.  It also gives us the opportunity to just kind of "hang out" and get to know one another.

Just remember to tip her, as their "managers" take most of the fee.

That's no way to talk about his cousin.

It's not all cornfields like it was originally believed lol.

So date went well. We hung out at the bar and had a few drinks before hitting the games, there wasn't any kids there which was good and we just goofed and had fun. We went bowling afterwards. We're going to hook up again soon. No rushing.

Give us the score in baseball terms; 1st base, 2nd base, 3rd base...........?

That'll happen when you can only ever run a 2 minute offense.

What happens when there's a turnover and the offense isn't ready to go back into the game?
