Agree. It is getting to a point that even when TMD says something completely logical, he still gets smashed.

Quote:LOL.

We all you'd wish you wait. Just once.  Ever.  But you don't.  You just make snap judgments, knee-jerk and fling blame aimlessly around at players and staff with little rhyme or reason.

You should take your own advice.

He never bothered informing himself on the news before flying off with a kneejerk reaction.

Therefore, he never knew his participation would be limited.

Par for the course.

Colvin is only how recent from reconstructive knee surgery?...

Its reasonable to question the thinking of going too hasty with the return here. Initially it was widely assumed he'd have to be on IR the entirety of 2014.

I just think the bye week made more sense. Give him a few more weeks to take it slow and ease in to practice.

The bye is Week 11. We have to decide by Week 9 whetherr to activate him or put him on IR. So your suggestion is actually not an option.

NaVorro Bowman was put on PUP because he tore his ACL in the NFC Championship Game. That tells me playing this season is a reasonable expectation for a guy who tore his ACL at the Senior Bowl.

There's nothing hasty about this.

It's been 9 months usually players can return to practice after 7 months. If anything the Jaguars are easing him along at a good pace..

Quote:Seems hasty.

We'll see.

I'd have liked to have seen them wait until the bye week.

Don't need any setbacks to Colvin resulting from rushing him in there too soon.

I'd be very interested to hear the reasoning why a 1-6 team would be 'rushing someone back'.

By the time he takes the field, it's going to be something like 10 months since his surgery.

Especially when their secondary played solid in the past two games.

Still irrelevant.  The only way that a team is going to rush a player back is if they are some key cog that might help them make a playoff run.  The Jaguars are 1-6.  The theory that they would rush someone back just doesn't hold water.

he does love the attention, but i like how he has been getting shredded by all kinds of posters lately, to the point where he stops his agenda pushing arguments in one thread and escapes to another.

So TMD is angry and cries over a certain thing the coaches have decided - then it turns out he didn't even know the rules.

JaguarsWoman schools him.

Let's keep this going!
