I've never had much trouble out of the TV side at all.  Had a DVR go bad (hardware) but service, quality, etc has been excellent.

 

Only issue I have is that I'm not fiber... and had to upgrade the internet side to 75.  I've just got too many devices in the house and too much going on with streaming, etc. to go lower.

First hiccup, we just found out that UVerse dropped Esquire mid December. Friday Night Tykes starts tonight, my son was not to happy. Hopefully can catch on Netflix?

My wife and I just switched, it is going to save us $120 a month, and they are giving us more channels then what we had with Comcast. Other then price, I never had an issue with Comcast. Always had good customer service, and product was good.

NOTE:  MY EXPERIENCE WAS FROM 2 YEARS AGO SO I'M SURE THINGS HAVE CHANGED SINCE THEN .....

 

ATT Uverse was a slow as [BAD WORD REMOVED].

 

I kept calling and complaining and they'd walk me through a quick fix of changing the routing number to get me on a different signal which would work for a little then slow down again.  I recall getting a dreaded in process % type message when streaming.  My son had issues with Xbox FIFA speed as well.

 

Comcast is so much better but I must admit that I ran into a few issues recently after having the service for 2 years.

From the complaints I hear, Comcast doesn't have nearly as reliable uptime (that matches my experience with my in-laws vs my experience with ATT as well.)  All depends on your neighborhood, the age, quality of lines, and location relative to links/stations.

I saw some friends post on Facebook last night that their AT&T went out. Let's be honest here, they both suck in their own ways and cable is way too expensive.


I just got an unlocked firestick and I'm seriously debating about cutting the cord all together.

Just unlocked my firestick and now I'm also thinking about cutting the cord too. It will save me $100-$200 a month depending on how many PPVs I purchase. Once I set up a VPN and get the U.K. plug-ins it may happen sooner rather than later.

Nearly everything. Thousands of movies, TV shows and live sports. I need to set up a VPN for U.K. plug-ins so I can get my MMA PPVs for free because they're broadcasted in the U.K. for free. It's basically On Demand for $30.

I cut the cord a while ago, but since my fiance is a giant hockey fan and they don't often broadcast on local channels, I got sucked back into cable.

 

A combination of Hulu Plus, Amazon, and SingTV was enough for me (in addition to free channels over an antenna).

From where you are, a good antenna isn't out of the question.  I have a friend that lives in Keystone Heights that can receive not only the Jacksonville stations on his antenna, but also the Gainsville stations.  If you have a good internet connection, the possibilities are endless.

Yea we've thought about an arena but that would get me FX or AMC and FX doesn't stream same season programs for fx

Anything. Picture quality is highly dependent on how immediate you want to view certain things though.
