Bortles already at 1,000 yds passing

Bortles is a guy I was dead wrong on.

I'm glad we went with him instead of Watkins or Mack or Bridgewater.

I'm not a Fisch fan, but regardless, BB has the smarts to make the right adjustments at the line.  We haven't had that since Brunell.

Two other GMs who needed QBs passed on him. That makes Caldwell no worse than the 30th best GM.

Quote:I'd love to see Bortles throw 300+ yards for the next two games.  The Jaguars have never had a QB throw 300+ yards in back to back to back games.

Not true. Brunell passed for back to back to back 300 yard games back in 1999.

Game 10 ( NO )  -    19 of 30 for 351 yds

Game 11 (BAL)  -    27 of 47 for 338 yds

Game 12 (PIT) -   25 of 37 for 308 yds

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

The Jaguars should put up some yards on Cleveland. As bad as our defense has been, Cleveland has only given up 2 less yards a game.
