Gus Bradley's press conference
|
Gus Bradley himself was probably shocked that he got the HC job here.
Back then, he probably just showed up to any kind of interview so Seattle would restructure his existing contract. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

I'm sure other coaches break down the game plan and then show you what they're going to do next week. Just to tip off the other teams.

He didn't mention the word "Accountability" once.. I wonder if that's because if he did, he'd have to own that one..

That's good...22 games into his career as our HC and now he is accountable?
Did he say anything about signing willie beaman?

Quote:Actually some things do happen. We were one bad challenge (which he took responsibility for) and blocked kick (not Josh Scobee's fault) away from winning yesterday. If we can do that, we are getting better than we were in September. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPETITIVE! THEYRE A BAD TEAM PLAYING FREAKING WHITEHURST. "IMPROVEMENT"? It's all relative. This is still a really, really bad team. Quote:WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPETITIVE! THEYRE A BAD TEAM PLAYING FREAKING WHITEHURST. "IMPROVEMENT"? It's all relative. It's fine to cut bait people. How many coordinators rode belichick's success to head coaching jobs? And how many have been successful?
This job isnt for everyone, and it's becoming obvious it isnt for gus. He's a good motivator, but you need more than that out of your head coach. We show less advertisements to registered users. It's Caldwell's job to fire him but he is showing to be a below average GM at best so I'm not hopeful for our future.
I don't care what he says publicly. I just hope that he figures out what's wrong with the team, and fixes it. Because I think we have a little more talent on this team than the results show. I'm not saying anyone here has it right. But I hope Gus is able to figure out what is right.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:It's fine to cut bait people. How many coordinators rode belichick's success to head coaching jobs? And how many have been successful? I agree. Cut bait at seasons end, and get Harbaugh in here at head coach (or similar quality offensive mind) and get Rex Ryan in here to run the defense. The results will be immediate for 2015. |
