This signing frightens me for any future free agent moves the FO makes.

I wonder if Tony may have had an incorrect formula in one of his Excel spreadsheets.

What's the penalty going to be for cutting him in the offseason? I'd take that penalty just as long as we don't have to see another down run by him. Massive GM mistake.

The GM's for the Jags have been so bad in the recent years.

If Bortles doesn't pan out, it's going to be really bad.

Was anyone shaking in their boots on the third and one run. I was pretty sure he wasn't going to get it. But by the grace of god he barely got it.

Pretty sure that was his longest run of the day. About 4 feet.

Half of our time of possession today was Slowby running 20 yds with the screen pass.
Make the Jags Great Again

The more I think about it the more I realize this Jags team has been hindered by so many small things in the past it's not even funny. We could have had Tate or Moreno in the offseason and we chose this chump.

Amelia's speed rating in Madden is 84. I think Donny Moore was being generous.

Remember people on here were saying what a great signee, and trashing MJD.  This guy will never come close to MJD in his prime.

Quote:Lol @ him being on pace for 350 for the season. I didn't like the signing but hoped he proved me wrong. Well he hasent. I remember that thread when everyone was saying he's a beast. People was saying he would have 1200 sum yrds rushing and 500 sum yrds receiving. Smh......
I was one of those people... and I drafted him in fantasy. Yuck.

With Toby, I miss the glory days of 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

At least you're still getting the cloud of dust.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

He has that first quick juke like Barry Sanders, or maybe Dorsett, he can make people miss...wait I was still dreaming.

For ANYONE questioning whether Caldwell should be given a pass, Beadles and especially Slowby should bring you back to reality. These were well documented players, plenty of film on them, yet we threw all our FA money at these two complete busts and bombed. DC is no judge of talent obviously. THe proof is Slowby Gerhart, case closed.

I called it 3 months ago and got blasted on this board.

NOW, looking back, I have to admit there weren't many other viable options .... add a few more pieces to the line and trade down and get Gurley.

True... but to add insult to injury, think about how much money he got to come here and be this inept...

I can picture Gene Smith and Mike Mularkey sitting in a bar watching the games, touching cigars every time the Jags make a bad play.

Yeah I mean we can talk about 2 year plans and 3 year plans and drafting Bortles (which either Bridgewater or Bortles was a given) but the Jags front office went into this season with Slowby as their star running back, paid millions, and I have seen pulling guards hit a hole faster than Slowby.

There are some things you do on your job that are so atrociously bad, stupid, inconceivable, that it demands an immediate firing.

There is no excuse for this Free agent pickup, there was nothing on tape to be confused about, nothing to justify the decision, Caldwell hired a big lumbering fullback that runs a 5.9 and slotted him to be our big ticket free agent acquisition to replace MJD.

That's all that needs to be said about Caldwell. He has incomprehensible talent evaluation and planning, get him outta here.

Quote:It is too painful to watch this guy waste a down on his runs. He is absolute garbage and that is with the O line playing a hell of a lot better. Please Gus get this guy off the field. I would like to see more Storm. Also can we get some plays to get DRob in space? Jeesh!

Todd gurley...2015
Sadly I agree, D-Rob had his chances and please for the love of everything stop making D-rob run WR routes... aggh...

hes not bad as a screen pass kind of guy but he stinks at WR...

Slowby has been a sad disappointment to all Jaguar fans... keep Storm in he's young & has report with Blake.
