How about the best quarterback after Peyton Manning and Tom Brady retire? That would make a lot more sense.

 

If he is as much like Ben Roethlisberger as people say, I must have lower expectations. Hopefully he will get to the Aaron Rodgers/Drew Brees level.

Hi, Franklin here it's my first post here and as in the name I am a Broncos fan of 19years and I'm not here to stir things up or troll I will always keep things classy with you guys. I just want to say that I am happy for your franchise and for you fans thats been through thick and thin with this team. You guys deserve this after having been through a lot of rough years and heart aches...believe me I've been there with the Broncos before. I will admit I don't follow you guys regularly but I will start to. Bortles is a good kid with a lot of upside and seems to be well spoken. All the good things you want in a QB so lets hope that the Jags can put some pieces around him. I will accept a bandwagon title but I really like Bortles, so much so that I have brought his Jersey (first ever non bronco jersey I ever brought.)  Watching him in the preseason I became a fan so yeah a bit of a bandwagoner here but in time I will learn a lot about the jags and its players. Hopefully make some Jag friends while I'm at it. I only felt like this about a QB one other time and well that's why I am a bronco today. I got that same feeling watching Bortles as I did Elway. I hope he does for you guys what Elway did for us.  

 

Well I will root for him along with you guys and hopefully he can get you guys back to being competitve again in the division. I can't root for him when you guys play Denver but if he beats us I won't be upset. He does start against the hated chargers so I hope he can get a W tomorrow. I will begin to follow a lot of the players here and learn the team so I can chat it up with some of you guys in the future. So in essence yes I came to the board because I like Bortles a lot. Hopefully this guy is the franchise QB you guys need to get over that hump. I will watch tomorrow and hope Bortles beats Rivers and those chargers...for obvious reasons lol. I'm just glad to see Bortles get the start I didn't think I'd see him until the midway point in the season. I will be on the boards for a while and thanks for letting me post here and nice to meet you all and sorry for the long post. Good luck tomorrow.
