Attorney General Eric Holder stepping down

I agree.   It's just plain rude to spout an unsolicited political opinion to strangers like that.

By the way, I'd like to see a Democratic ticket of Anthony Weiner and Eric Holder.  I can see the bumper stickers now.

I wanted him shot for sedition, but I guess this is somewhat of a consolation prize.

I guess he felt like he pegged out the "damage meter" and had nothing left to prove.

I think there's something coming down the pipe line that would've forced his resignation and they're trying to get ahead of it to avoid a conformation on a new AG post elections.

Shot for sedition?

se·di·tion
conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.

So how is he guilty of sedition?

Sedition applies to a person like Cliven Bundy.  Why do you apply that word to the Attorney General of the United States?

Ferguson, MO.

Plus, he's a race baiter. Tell me that's not inciting people to rebel against authority. There are better ways to get a point across than to dangle, or outright throw, that carrot out there.

I read somewhere it's most likely the Fast and Furious issue coming back to bite him.

Are you saying you agree with Dakota that Attorney General Holder is guilty of sedition and should be shot?   If so, please explain exactly what he has done that qualifies as sedition.   And then please explain how whatever he did would make him deserve the death penalty.

Marty isn't smart enough to make those connections.

Telling a liberal not to be lazy is tantamount to telling water not to be wet.

I didn't say he deserves the death penalty. You put the definition of sedition there and I pointed out how he could be guilty of it. Pretty easy to read. If you want specifics google him.

I wouldn't be excited just yet... he may find somewhere else to put him.

You couldn't just give me two sentences?   If I google "Eric Holder guilty of sedition," I get a huge pile of results, none of which deal with Holder being guilty of sedition.   I get "tea party guilty of sedition," I get "Obama wants to usher in Sharia law..."  etc etc etc.

Here we are on a political discussion board, someone says Eric Holder is guilty of sedition, I ask how is that, and people can't give me two sentences of explanation?   He did this, he did that, and that meets the definition of sedition... and so forth.

It's just a simple question.   If no one can answer it, I have to assume you guys really have nothing and are just throwing around a bunch of empty rhetoric.

I don't think he's guilty of sedition, but I'd argue he's guilty of obstruction of justice.

It's hard to "prove" anything when you can't have access to all the facts, but there's been reports about Fast and Furious and the cover up. His refusal to investigate the IRS scandal. his admittance they will not investigate poll intimidation by the New Black Panther party. I can go on where he's at the very least a horrible AG most likely guilty of obstruction of justice.

1) I am not a liberal.

2) You're the one who said you wanted the Attorney General of the United States "shot for sedition."

3) When I ask you to back up that statement, you are too lazy to do it.

That's a serious thing to post on a message board- that the Attorney General should be shot for sedition.   If you can't back up that statement, you shouldn't say it.

On the other hand, if you were joking, just say, "I was joking, Marty, lighten up."   And that will be the end of it.

Actually I was not on my computer and therefore not able to write the essay you seem to be looking for.  And I'm not wasting my time scouring the internet for what you can look up yourself. I made comments based on what I have been hearing from and reading about this guy since he has been in office as Attorney General and some of what I remember prior to that.

Is he a complete [BLEEP]? No. There are things that he did that was worthwhile, but on the whole he has caused a lot of trouble, specifically when it comes to racial issues in this country. There was an article I read the other day that highlighted his tenure- good, bad and ugly- and I actually did look for it to post here, but I was unable to find it.

I have my opinion, you have yours.

This. Although there are things he's said and done that could promote discontent.

Anyone notice that under the header of this forum it says to keep politics relevant to sports? Is that new, or have I just not been paying attention?

Oh...

Holder is a putz and I'm glad he's leaving.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
