So your argument is the worst defense in the league would be worse if it were to have cut Poz and signed other guys in the off-season?

Good decision cutting out of the thread, you're not making a convincing argument right now.

You came back with all caps lock? Dude calm down, the sooner you realize Poz is an average linebacker the better off emotionally you'll be.

Quote:I saw it too. Its basically one play where he misfit... but also Ziggy Hood got completely out of position which allowed Trich to cut inside.

So its not all on Poz that play.

Id like to see a breakdown of the goalline hit he put on Trich. We wont get that though because this is a Poz hate fest.
He's your favorite player in the whole world huh?

My argument is let him keep playing.  What are you saying?  Cut him?  Bench him?  Ya, try that.

No, at this point there's nothing to be done but ride it out, but keeping him and not either looking elsewhere or developing someone else to call the defenses was a mistake.

edit: also, I feel the same way about Marcedes, he should have been cut and replaced in free agency. Way overpaid for his impact.

The team could have used the wages sunk into those two guys to make the Alex Mack deal even bigger and more painful for cleveland.

Trade our 2015 first round draft pick for Bobby Wagner.  Do it now Caldwell.

Haha ok Badger, you've shown yourself to be a bit unstable, I'm going to stop conversing with you in fear that you might show up on my doorstep.

They drafted plenty of LBs.  If the coaches want to bench him, they will.  They wont hold back anything if he's REALLY the problem.  I don't think he is THE problem, so...

BCC has a new target now that Branch has done well enough to not merit calling for his head all the time.

He's not "THE" problem, he's a contributor to a systemic lack of talent across the board on defense.

We already knew years ago he was a liability in coverage, it's probably why Buffalo didn't keep him.

The point is if he's not an impact guy then why pay him like he's an impact guy?

Gus should have gotten someone else ready in the offseason for his role at a fraction of the price.

The team could have spent money spent on our two highest paid players more effectively than they did by paying them.

Because the other option was to cut him in the offseason, which would have left us with a gaping hole in the middle of our defense.  Plus he was like the second leading tackler in the league... I have no problem with him staying here.  Could they have signed somebody else?  Sure, but that wouldn't have been as cheap as you think if this supposed FA was going to be an improvement.

Jerry Sullivan (Buffalo Columnist)

"Poslusnzy is an average linebacker on his best day who couldn't cover a crock pot"

It's all a conspiracy however to trash Poz's name (Badger)
