Going winless is nearly impossible in the NFL (only twice in history?).


The AFCS is dreadful. The Colts are decent, but they'll end up 9-7 or 10-6.


The Jags will beat the Titans and Texans at least once. And, they'll beat one or two teams that they really have no business beating (just the nature of the NFL).


It'll start to look better as the season goes forward, as all the rookies on offense get better.


The defense,,,,

Well, they should get a little more rest between possessions now. But, man they look dreadful. They're going to have to get much more stout on 3rd downs. Even if a team doesn't score, they're giving up too many 1st downs and long drives.

Defense looks terrible right now.

On a few plays, but they were also calling different running plays with him out there. Never once saw that misdirection pitch to Robinson with Henne out there.

Again, there's never once been a debate about who the better qb is on this team. It's never been about that. So, I'm not sure what epiphany you and others think I should be having here. Not once have I ever made any claim that Henne was the better qb. Thats why I never agreed with those calling Gus a liar for preaching competition at every position but qb. There was never a competition between Henne and Bortles. It was always about the competition between Blake and himself.

Take everything with a grain of salt: O-line essentially 3 rookies starting.  WR corp with a majority of rookies and now Shorts is back who is a legit #2 but not a #1 guy.  I think we are 2 interior lineman, a RB, DE, and LB away from being competitive; one more good draft and free agency period away.  Give it time.  If we suck next year I will be calling for a new coaching staff.

It's happened twice in the history of he NFL. It's as rare as going undefeated.

Prisoner of the moment?  I've been a prisoner since the 2008 season. 

 

I don't share your confidence of this team will beat X team.  Every team in the league is competitive against their opponents atleast some of the time.  We just go out there every week and take our spanking.

I responded to all your numbers under all your numbers. I figured you were smarter than this of all people. 

Your not really educated about football.  Yes the defense gets gassed but it's not all on the offense.  It's the defense who allows the opposing team to get 1st down after 1st down on them even when they are fresh.

 

You just want to excuse everything and blame it all on the QB.  That is far from the case.  This Defense if playing flat out awful right now.  They can't even do the simple things like tackle correctly.
