Sons Of Anarchy Final Season

Waited for it to end so I could binge watch it. I hate watching most shows weekly.

I think Sutter made the decision to not leave the ending hanging the way they did with the Sopranos. He said that he had considered just leaving it to the imagination of the viewers, but decided to make sure there was complete closure, so while you don't see him die, you know Jax was killed in the final moments of the series. Great way to end a great show.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
I agree. This was my favorite show on Tv and im very happy with the ending.

DVR and streaming (Netflix) have encouraged me to do this as well sometimes. Quote:I think Sutter made the decision to not leave the ending hanging the way they did with the Sopranos. Great way to end a great show. Agree, plus... it probably wasn't an intentional reference, but it reminded me of the ending of Lonely Are the Brave. Yes, Jax was struggling between changing who he was at the core and embracing it. But I also got the impression that, similar to the way Kirk Douglas' character was a throwback and didn't "fit" in the modern world around him, there was no way for Jax to "fit" in the future he was trying to mold. He felt he was the necessary sacrifice to make life better for the club, his kids, and their future moving forward in the hope the cycle of destruction has finally ended (no pun intended.)

Quote:Best finale I've seen in forever show really came full circle. Agree... from being obsessed with his father's work early in the series, to literally burning it up at the end... and the final ride. There really wasn't a way to come to any other kind of closure. I like that they had him spend time on the roof again before making what were to be his final, toughest (and perhaps best?) decisions. One question though... doesn't Abel still have a sons ring?

Yea I saw that in the end Abel was playing with a sons ring. Perhaps Kurt saying the seed was already planted. Without a doubt Abel is going to be one screwed up kid growing up. Great way to end a great show. Agreed. It seems like I remember Jax figuring out his dad doing something similar, because he wasn't convinced Clay sabotaged his dad's bike. Maybe I am thinking of something else. I also like how Sutter let Jax tie up all the loose ends for the club, as well. He did indeed get the MC going in the direction he envisioned.
