Time to move on, Washington's up next

Quote:Im glad yall "expect" a win this week. That will hopefully speed up the process of Bortles starting after Sunday's results.

Expect.  Lol, no.  But certainly is a winnable game.

I don't see a win either. I think the jags d keeps it competitive once again, but Henne will fizzle out the offense after Washington figures him out.

35-14 Skins. Henne goes 21/43 for 220 yds, 1 TF, 1 INT. Gerhart 70 yards on 19 carries, 1 TD.

I hope i'm wrong but i just don't see the skins as a team that will blow us out.  I really think we will win but i really would be shocked if we get blown out.

Washington offense isn't as potent as Eagles. Their front 7 isnt as good either. I definitely see this as a winnable game if we play decently.

Quote:Well obviously that was tough to watch, but I didn't expect to win the game to start with.  There was a lot of bad, but a lot of good also and the best half of football i've seen in a long time.

I fully expect a win this weekend against Washington.  I believe the coaching staff will work out some issues, the D will smother Washington's O and we will come out with a win.  23-14.

Go Jags!

I like your optimism.  This game coming up is one of the ones that I figure is winnable.  I don't "fully expect" the Jaguars to win, but I like their chances.

Very winnable.  Only scored 6 points?!?  Griffin isn't the same QB since being injured.  Not to mention, he's being forced out of his strengths in that offense.  He isn't playing well right now, and probably a good time to face them before they fix their issues.

Agreed.  If we bring the pressure on him, we will win this game.

We'll get beat by the Redskins as long as we continue to rely on a non-existent running game and Chad Henne

Why would you want to? That is just a few more days of whining about how we squandered a 17-point halftime lead and sucked on third down.

Contain RGIII to less than 50 yards rushing and the game will be very competitive.  This dude is an incompetent passer in the pocket.

RGIII rushes for 50+ yards -- Skins win by 10+

RGIII rushes for less then 50 yards - Skins pull out a 3 point win.

Remember we cannot run the ball. No way Gehart gets 70 yards. I hope I am wrong. In fact he might not even play

Do you realize what you wrote?

"I hope I'm wrong" and "I just don't see the Skins as a team that will blow us out" together mean you do want the Redskins to blow out the Jaguars - exactly what a Redskins fan would say.

If Fisch only tells Gerhart to run up the middle and puts Robinson in for outside runs, we just need better run blocking by the offensive line to pick up some yards. I hope Gerhart is not a full participant in every practice or the game because his ankle needs some time to heal.

I dunno.  Maybe it's like that morbid sense of enjoyment we all get by pushing a canker sore on the end of our tongues against the point of a canine.  It just feels so, so...right.

We match up better with Washington than we do with Philly. If Cyprien is out, I would expect DeSean to blow up. Still, Washington doesn't have a great defense, and they don't protect the passer. I would worry if RG3 was solid from the pocket. I'm not sold RG3 is a threat to our defense. It's all about keeping DeSean contained

I expect this team to find a new, even more painful way to lose
