Exactly.  He isn't going to be Joe Salesman standing out on the curb.  A lot of the people making fun of this will probably make a lot less than Gordon will with this little job.

I think it is a safe bet that Gordon is not working 10-12 hour days including weekends, taking fresh "ups" off the street and performing a needs based sales presentation. 
I don't see him negotiating trade-in values, nor selling the benefits of rustproofing or extended warranties with Joe the Plumber.
