Look at the two people you are trying to have a discussion with.  That will clear a lot of this up.

Hail and TMD make for some great MB entertainment. Completely oblivious to what is going on, or was already said. All while spinning it to fit whatever shaped peg they need it to. It is pure entertainment to read.

Thought police and woman's rights folks... I don't think I said how you have to think or mentioned anything about woman's rights. I need a shoulder shrug emoticon but don't have that option on my phone.

Quote:Thats too bad. Some of those women were physically attractive, yet when they act all tough, ghetto and masculine it just pretty much ruins it for me. Any attractiveness they had flies out the window.

If thats what this league is about, I'll never bother catching a game.

You said if thats what this league is about, I'll never bother catching a game.

I take this as meaning if there are fights in a game, you would never watch.  There have been fights in the NFL with men, but you continue to watch. It just seems like a double standard.

Of course after you get called out on it, it turns into attractiveness and the womens rights folks coming after you.

Yeah, YOU took that as meaning just the fighting.... (go back to the beginning of the thread and it bears it out)

Thats your problem.

I elaborated several times what I found unttractive. It was the overall boorish/ manly/ ghetto behavior in general that I found unattractive.

You then went on to mention in a later post that "just because....blah blah blah....doesn't make them any less attractive"....to which I responded - "TO YOU it doesn't make them any less attractive".....

And, it is to laugh....because these women being "attractive" is obviously one of the selling points of this league to begin with....to deny that after looking at their "uniforms" would be laughably ignorant.

And I never mentioned anything about "womens rights folks" coming after me, that was hailtoyourvictor....But I know you thought police have trouble keeping focused, so I guess we'll have to let that one slide.

Lol, I'm the thought police and every time something goes wrong in the world you are the one that quickly points out that didn't happen in the past.

You are probably the biggest hypocrite here.

The thread was started about indoor football and a fight.  Because it was women playing your first thought was about that they were unattractive.  You then go into their looks....thats the first thing you think about when you see women playing football and get into a fight?

Go look at post #2.  You are the one that went directly into the thought process.  You like remembering the past and saying how it was better....its good to see your brain hasn't evolved one bit on a womans role in society.  (Please tell me how I'm a womans advocate and the thought police....again....)

Yeah, go look at the beginning of the thread, You were the one that focused on "fighting" not me.

I spoke of their boorish, manly, ghetto behavior being unattractive...., it was more than just speaking about any punches being thrown.

Your take on this is laughable.

Attractiveness / exploitation is clearly part of the sell of this league - They are wearing glorified thongs and bra's!!! Laughing Laughing and you're there seriously trying to argue about me focusing on the "attractiveness" part of it and not taking them seriously as football players and I should be awarding them the same judgement for fighting/ behavior as a mans league. Laughing Laughing Laughing

BOOM

Like I said, these people are just muddying the waters for the people trying to solve real issues in gender equality. Guys like Josh make the movement a caricature of itself and make it harder for other causes to gain traction. It's a shame they don't realize they are doing more harm than good.

Lol, you two always bring a good laugh.  What other causes am I making it harder to gain traction?

What am I doing harm to?  I brought up a fight in an indoor womens league.  I honestly didnt even notice in the video what they were wearing....if thats what they think sells, good for them.

How is it that hard for you to comprehend? It's like the boy who cried wolf. The more and more non-issues you bring up to try and puff your activist chest, the less credibility other activists are going to have when they are complaining about something worth complaining about.

You do understand that nothing that I said here has even remotely made me an activist, dont you?  Same goes for jtmoney.  TMD said they were unattractive and I said he's wrong.  You both make up things in your own head and then comment on them.

I posted a link to a fight in arena football, and the first comment is about how they arent attractive and he would never watch it.  I simply pointed out that there are fights in football, and he continues to watch that.  If me thinking that is the dumbest reason he could come up with is activism, then yes I'm a womans activist.

You calling me an activisit is complete trash.  Just because you and your boy call someone an actiivist, doesn't make it true.

Can I be an activist against both of you?  That is a worth cause.

haha you're still accusing me of calling you an activist. Are you seeing things or are the little voices in your head telling you I said it.

I mean, I'm not disputing hail's claim that you are one (because you sure seem to fit those shoes).....but credit the proper source . Laughing

I am an activist because I think its stupid to call a woman unattractive because she gets into a fight in a full contact football game?  Yes, then I'm an activist.

I get that you like to argue, and you are really good at it....but you turn a normal conversation into a battle.  Then you wonder why people here get sick of you.

You're an activist because you are telling TMD that his opinion is wrong. TMD is allowed to be attracted to whoever and whatever he so pleases.

Let me paint you another example. My girlfriend likes to watch makeover shows like Extreme Makeover and Mission Makeover. She enjoys watching females acting feminine and receiving makeovers. However, she would hate a show like "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" because she does not enjoy men acting or dressing metrosexual. She's allowed to think that show is unappealing and those men are unattractive.

Likewise, TMD enjoys watching men acting tough, ghetto, and masculine during football games. When women start doing the same, he is allowed to consider that unappealing and unattractive. Just because his personal taste isn't same as yours doesn't make him wrong. When you start saying that it is, you are acting as thought police.

So I'm an activisit because I told TMD he has ONE stupid opinion?  Yourself and TMD constantly tell people here they have wrong opinions....so wouldn't that make you activists as well?  You tell people they are wrong all the time (ie, baseball thread), thought police.

This is awesome....I'm an activist because I think he's a hypocrite for watching men play football and fight but not women that get in a fight in a game.

You guys are very good at saying things and picking apart what people said to the minute detail to make yourselves feel better about yourselves.  It's sad.

Are women hypocrites for liking shows where women get makeovers and go shopping for clothes but not liking shows where men get makeovers and go shopping for clothes?
