Quite a while ago, I bought my wife a Brunell jersey that had a wide stripe going veritical from around the armpit area to the hip.  Pretty cool.  I think it was only used for 1 year.

They a few different designs in the 97-98 range.

 

The stripe one was bad.

 



 

One had ultra thin numbers too. Not sure that one lasted long or if they even wore it during a game.

Alot of teams have made multiple changes during the same timeframe. Miami, Tampa, Atlanta, Buffalo and Minnesota come to mind.

 

It's part of sports.
