Most likely city to get an NFL team?

#21

Quote:The enthusiasm may be there, but not the population.  The two largest cities, Montgomery and Birmingham, are each only a little over 200,000 and Atlanta is just 150 miles away.  I like the idea, but numbers are money and the NFL is all about money.

Good points. Too bad.

I'm going to ignore that Jacksonville is an option, and say it's LA with San Antonio close by.

I think LA is ripe for an NFL team now that the Lakers are falling off. LA is full of bandwagoners, and once the Clippers fall off, the NFL team in LA will reap the fruits of their failures.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

But for how long. Will the fickle fans tolerate a slow start?

The league doesn't care about that. All they see is the #2 market dangling out there without a team, and the potential windfall the league would see.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Would be funny if they threw up an 70k stadium and had to tarp it up after a few seasons...I mean where would they move to?

Everyone always goes to Jax for moving or doesn't deserve a team. But can anyone tell me what has Oakland done to deserve a team?

Surprised at the list, Toronto and even some place like Mexico City  i kinda feel should be on the poll. But it all depends on what Davis and the raiders do, I think either LA or SA will get a team pretty soon. I still believe something like London is far away, I wouldnt be too surprised to see the NFL try and do something in Mexico but its not really talked about so i guess it wont.

They have the largest tarps in the NFL, so there's that.
