Bortles (UCF vs LOU) on ESPNU now

#21

That's one major plus about Bortles.. He just seems to win when it matters. Also, if you watched his tape from 2012 and his tape from last year it's night and day a different player.

Yeah, I have to think that if Blake played for a bigger name school he would have been last year's NCAA Hero.

Bortles and UCF enjoyed one of those magical years.

UCF unfortunately has a long way to go with national recognition.

Quote:Taking off your teal glasses as much as possible, which QB would you rather have from that game? Bortles or Bridgewater? And why?

I like Bridgewater because of the accuracy. With the smaller passing windows in the NFL that accuracy will be key and while I'm hopeful for Bortles someday becoming great, I'm more confident that barring injury, Bridgewater will have success.
I saw this game on TV when it was played on a Thursday night. I was real intent on watching Bridgewater. I came away from the game saying Bridgewater was overrated. Really did not have any idea that we would draft the other QB which I was stunned by his playing. When they said he was 6'5" 230 pounds I thought to myself. Someone is going to draft him high in a couple of years. Remember he was a Jr.

Yes he got much better. If you want to see his best look at the Baylor Bowl Game.As the year went by he got better. He had a couple of games that were not his best(Temple) but when it came time to win he did!

Its refreshing to have a guy who makes you feel that you're never out of a game no matter what
