This basically means he's done for the rest of the off-season. Hopefully he's good to go Week 1 and doesn't have any set backs is the main concern going forward. We don't need another Marcedes episode.

Obviously cutting him makes no sense but I would think this will cause the Jags to proceed much more cautiously on a contract extension. Definitely wait it out longer to see if this is becoming a chronic issue at this point.

I think he'll be fine but he is definitely getting to the point where the "injury prone" label should be considered. I hope for the best, hamstring issues tend to linger.

Whatever advice he's been given in regards to staying in shape has either been awful or ignored.  Remember his rookie hamstring issues and how that carried over to the next season until the concussion.
