Trade Marrone for Payton?

The report, which comes from Jason La Canfora of CBS, states that: “There remains a very real possibility the Saints trade coach Sean Payton this offseason, and if they do, sources said Jaguars interim coach Doug Marrone would be given serious consideration for the job in New Orleans”.

That doesn't say they're trading Marrone for Payton. That says they're trading Payton and then signing Marrone.


I like Marrone more at this point.
