Early Roster Cuts: Rackley, Ebert gone

#21

Definitely more comfortable with McClendon as a backup. Looked serviceable during the times I saw him play.

Not surprising.  Rackley was awful.

Rackley cut? That settles it, Linder got the job.

@ryanohalloran: #Jaguars also cut RB Delone Carter, RB Shaun Chapas, DT Drake Nevis, WR Stephen Williams.

I think there are enough feathers there to go with something like this now:

Goodbye to the constant holding penalties, and whiffs at the LOS.

Well At least Rackley does not have to worry about answering his door at Training Camp. He came also get on another team roster as well thus summer. Never live up to his potential. Guys is smart, big, and physical. But he was taking up a roster spot for someone else. Knew it was coming but did not expect it this soon.

There was an article on Big Cat Country this morning about Carter making the final roster.

He played better at that spot last year than Brewster or Rackley.

Don't forget about Drew Nowak

Every time the Jags bring a player in, I wish for nothing but for them to succeed. That said, Holy Hell, was Rackley  bad. I was hoping the light would turn on for him, but that was just wishful thinking.

At least we know that when they start rolling the Culligan commercials again, we won't have to watch his.  Just the creepy leering bottle delivery guy.

The Jaguars personal version of The Onion.

I've clicked over to read an article or two  before, but for the most part, I don't waste my time.

To be fair that's not exactly what the article said.

I think you're forgetting Todd Bouman.

Something tells me they like some of these UDFA guys. Rashaad Reynolds will make the roster, the guy was projected to go in the 3rd round. Wouldn't surprise me to see Copeland stick around too.

Linder will be a great addition to this team. He blocks well.
