Acl injury, poor route running, and short with reduced hops what's not to like

Quote:And if he's just a guy, or worse, oft injured, they'll be wrong twice.

Or they could be right twice.

I don't get most of the arguing about quarterbacks. They all seem to have a large variance in value. There is no consensus value for any of them. Just choose your side, werewolf or vampire, and say I told you so in 3 years.

Or maybe he appears headed to Jacksonville and you're building your campaign against him.

Ha. Nice try Gamecock fan.

He's 6'1. He's not short.

And watch that TD v. Ohio State game and tell me he has "reduced hops".

I didn't realize there was this need to pick a side and wait.  Especially with the QBs in this draft.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Or don't pick a side. I don't care.

PS: I was just saying in general. Not you or anyone specifically.

For me it's not about picking sides.  It's about this team getting the right guy.  This QB class is all over the place, and there isn't a clear cut guy who is head and shoulders above the rest.  Each has flaws and strengths.  Whoever the team drafts, the guy probably won't be ready to plug and play for a while.

It is bizarre how many people feel the need to marry themself to a guy.

It just seems as if most here are on a quest to discredit the quarterback they don't have as #1. It's becoming almost Tebow like with the hate, especially for Teddy. One thing is for certain, this board is going to get pretty interesting/unbearable after we select our QB.

I'm not trying to discredit any QB.  I'm simply pointing out the fact that there isn't a guy out there who is going to be a plug-n-play starter on day 1.  Each one has legitimate concerns, including the one SI suddenly thinks is the best player in the draft.

It is.  They plant a flag and then they'll fight anyone who dares point out the flaws.

Oh well.

Again, I'm talking the board as a whole - not just you. As for you, you can't deny there is a snark in your remarks about certain players, including your last. Subtlety can be picked up every now and again.

Or ya know, just have a discussion about the prospect. Not everything is a fight.

Some of you are acting like people who like teddy are treating this as life or death. He's my favorite qb prospect but I'll support whoever the jags draft. I may not agree but that's a different story. I am positive I'm not the only one who feels this way.

And why couldn't teddy start day 1?

Is this a Jaguars forum or a Teddy forum seems like all the talk here is about Teddy

This is nothing compared to how it was during the fall. This board was almost unreadable then.

This is such a lame assertion. There have been several players who are linked to Jacksonville and I am not anti all of them. Maybe I just don't like Sammy Watkins all that much....ever consider just that one????

For some on this board, it is life or death in their minds.  They're nearly as defensive here as the Tebow homers tend to be.

Unlike some here, I'm not convinced Bridgewater can actually beat out Henne for the starting job on opening day.  Regardless of how "NFL ready" we've been told he is, there's a huge difference between Louisville and even the worst team in the NFL.

It's snarky to point out that SI has declared he's the best player in the draft?

We could draft the 2nd coming and you would be anti it, just give it up, you seem to love getting attention and that is disturbing, especially as you are truly a eagles fan

Byproduct of half the board thinking he's the #1 player in the draft and the other half thinking he's undraftable.
