There's a difference between being concerned by a lack of height and blindly drafting anyone who's tall.

For the record, I think Watkins is a really good WR and would rank him as about the 10th best prospect in this class. The WR bust rate is just too high for me to draft a guy in the top 5 who isn't elite in every category: speed, height, hands, acceleration. He's got three out of four.

I'd be on board with this, tho admittedly, i haven't seen much of Thomas.  If our head office goes that direction, i'll jump on the band wagon and hope they get it right.

I agree. #3 with a possibility of an elite pass rusher staring us in the face against him is too high.

Quote:He wasn't trying to say he's the most accurate, best qb, best prospect, any of that.  He made it very clear.  He said he just has the best natural ease of throwing the football than the rest.  For what it's worth.

Oh ok, calling him the best thrower is a very poor choice of words though. If he said best arm I could understand.

I just took a look at some of his highlights, smooth as can be throwing the ball.

I still think Carr throws the ball better.

I'm pretty sure that was his point.  He wasn't suggesting Logan should be the guy the Jags pick to be their future starter.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
