That way you get to see your favorite team...playing the Jaguars.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:It wouldn't really surprise me if the Jags actually DO get a Sunday night game early in the season.

Think about it.  Gus Bradley is a rising star in the league.  If the team goes out and gets a QB who they plug in early enough in the year who has a high visibility, like Manziel, I could see the team getting a Sunday night game.

Now, the odds of that happening are low, but it's definitely a possibility.
I agree. Maybe it's wishful thinking but a stadium having the biggest TVs in the world should get us on National TV. Khan is also a rising star in the NFL so I figure that is a story the NFL will want to cover nationally. The draft will come after the schedule release so unless we get a flex game, I don't see that having much im[pact whether we do or don't. Maybe Sunday night week 17 against the Colts for the AFC South title?

Yeah, thats why I saw them in Philly the last time they played there, wearing my Jags gear cheering on the Jags.

Something you'd never have the cajones to do.

You'd probably sit there all in your plain coat all covered up if you were even wearing any Jags gear at all. Not me. I displayed my Jags gear proudly and didn't sit there like a mute to not offend the Eagle fans....I cheered the Jags on.

You'd probably be too skirred to do that.

Oh, I'm sure you were all decked out in your favorite team gear .

I'm pretty sure you haven't a clue what "cajones" are.

I guess manly men obsess over things like glitter in New Jersey.

I've been to Philly for a game, wearing my Jaguar gear.  I wasn't scared, and I didn't hide it.  It's been a while ago, but unlike you, I'm actually willing to travel occasionally to see the team I root for.  How many away games have you followed the Eagles to?

Maybe if the Eagles come to Jacksonville, you'll follow your team south.  Unless it's early in the season and it's a day game, in which case, we all now you're not man enough to sit out in the heat of a September game.  It makes the mascara run.

The Jags only played in Philly in 2006 (not counting pre-season), so seems like I'm catching you in a lie here. I was at the only Jags/ Eagles regular season game at the Linc. Proudly wearing my Jags gear and cheering the team on. And yes, I did have to deal with some Eagle fan knuckleheads because of it. If you ever were there, (unlikely) I could envision you sitting there all quiet as if you were in a business meeting, lol, with your Jags gear, if worn, (again, unlikely), all covered up.

for visiting team's fans, definitely amongst the worst. NY Jet fans aren't much better to opposing fans, though.

I just noticed the trashiness of the Eagles fans that showed up at Everbank

Colts fans are polite and nerdy

Steelers fans are annoying

Bears fans are just like the guys from SNL

Browns fans are weird, bark at random moments

Bonus points for knowledge of opposing team. Philly fans still thought Brunell was our QB in 2006 when I was there. Was asked why he wasn't starting that game, lol.

No they trashy

And not to mention the invasion of Eagles at that super bowl here. It was horrible trying to get anywhere in the stadium. Nonstop T.O. chants and stinky armpits.

I love how you think you've caught someone in a lie.

Tell us again about that national talk show you hosted?

I hate to upset your little fantasy here, but I never said it was a Jags game I had traveled there for, although I have been to enough stadiums to know who the hostile fans are.

I was in Philly in August of 1999 to be the best man for a buddy of mine.  While I was up there, he got tickets to see the Ravens play a preseason tilt on a Thursday night.  I figured it was an NFL game, so why not?

I'd heard all the horror stories about Veterans Stadium, and was fully prepared for the abuse.  I wasn't going to go buy other gear or go undercover.  Most of the stuff I had with me was Jag logo'd, so I went to the game wearing my Jags gear.  I got plenty of ribbing, but the Jags were coming off a good season, and the few fans that were there weren't really paying much attention to me.  I got more grief from my friend, who is an Eagles fan, than I did from anyone else.

Now, tell us all the stadiums you've seen the Jags play in again?

I think they'll have guards to filter only beautiful in-shape women into the pools.
