Jimmy Smith or Justin Blackmon?

Ace could be a star in the slot position imo.

Jimmy Smith had 862 career receptions for over 12000 yards.  Blackmon may never play in the NFL again.  Not much of a comparison at this point.

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

I love comparing guys who have done sweet FA in the NFL to all time greats.

Its a really worth while exercise.

Reggie Williams. Best slant route wr in Jags history and holds td reception record in a season. Celebrated on every catch.

Jimmy is way too old.

I'd go with Blackmon.

So? Blackmon has the liver of a 60 year old man.

If Blackmon wasn't so trouble oriented and could focus on his success, he probably has more talent. JB's potential and skill is through the roof. Kid has played a minimal amount of NFL games and has a 236 yard performance, and a 190 yard performance. When he is on the field his skill proves itself (this with a below average qb). If he had the mentality of a Jimmy Smith or Cecil Shorts he would be a pro bowler without doubt. Praying he can somehow fix this or he will be traded to a team like the Pats.

Yo. Yo Boy.  It's Jimmy, not even a question.  You can't play football if you aint allowed to play.

Dang it Blackmon, please straighten yourself up and get back on the field so we can see how this debate ends up.

I'm pulling for ya kid, but it's ultimately all up to you.

Jimmy Smith or Justin Blackmon how can you even compare a good WR to a convict?

Man if they could have played together. We had Thunder and Lightning with Smith and Keenan.

With those two we could have had Rum and Coke

We had Rum/Coke and Coke with Jones and Williams, too much coke, wasn't very good.

Of course Jimmy has done more stuff....But if JB was able to get his life together he does have more of an upside than Jimmy. But who knows how the rest of JBs career will go? At this point during this pointless thread/question I'll go ahead and just say Jimmy...

This is a joke right?   J Smooth is the man.   Justin needs the lights to come on some time.

However Jimmy told me straight out in a reply tweet.   That Blackmon was better coming out of college then he was.    I am sure even JSmooth is pulling for him.

I'm hoping a few years from now this will be a compelling question.
