How many wins do you see in 2014?
|
Quote:idk where you get 4 or 5 wins considering the upgrades we've already made I would say 6 at the very least especially considering A we had a worse team last year, B we don't play the NFC west this year, and C we might actually get a couple sacks. Quote:The team won 4 games last year, and this team is already better overall.. I'd say 6-8 wins, but I may predict higher depending on the rest of the off-season. This team won 4 games last year, but that was largely due to the Texans collapse. That was for all intents and purposes a 2 win roster in 2013. My saying that right now it is a 4 or 5 win roster, with the projected schedule we have for 2014 represents and improvement. We show less advertisements to registered users. And this offseason, the Texans have swapped Matt Schaub for Ryan Fitzpatrick. And they've lost Ben Tate, Owen Daniels, Antonio Smit, Earl Mitchell and Daniel Manning while adding nobody.

Quote:This team won 4 games last year, but that was largely due to the Texans collapse. That was for all intents and purposes a 2 win roster And the Browns and Titans aren't that good either, so it was really a 0 win season. And they only played 16 games last year, so there really could have been a lot more losses. Do you see the problem with that logic?

NFL teams are close enough so that a few changes can make a big difference in the win/loss record so it's possible the Jags could reach 9 wins but a lot of things would have to go right. A couple of guys playing above their ability for example. Blackmon coming back quickly and being effective this year, the new guys on defense being effective from the get go, successful drafting, etc. It could happen!
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Love the perdection, 9-7 should not be a reach was thinking 8-8 should be the goal, and LOL at the poster who thinks this is a 4 win team.

I'll consider it a huge disappointment if we do not win at least 13 games this season.

I think high score was counting a playoff game. Cause if you make it into the playoffs you would play a 13th game.
snowwolf titans owner in madden. note titans owner means im undeafted againest them.
opps no I did. I missed something. There are a total of 16 games for a nfl team. I temperoy forgot that. Ussalley its 8 at home, and 8 on the road. For our jags this year its 8 on the road 7 at home 1 in London.

Quote:I'll save my final 2014 record prediction until after the draft.Agreed. Hard to win 9 games without much of an offense to speak of. I suspect that side of the ball will be addressed heavily in the draft, though, which could change things dramatically. Quote:Am I missing something here...? Might be! LOL

What a broken record this is. Every year this team "is better than last year". We have Chad Henne at QB. SMH!
