Tandon Doss

I didn't realize that Doss lead the League in Yards per Punt Return last season.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Nice special teams player.

Because if you don't, then you're stuck with crap. Not a bad #5, and a special teams contributor. If you take a better WR in the draft and Doss gets beat out for the last WR spot, what's the harm?

Probably just some depth that can contrbute on special teams just incase our targets dont fall to us in the draft.  I am thinking more and more that Watkins is the pick if he is there.

I agree If Clowney isn't available I think Jags will draft Watkins.

Quote:Jags just signed him to a 2 year deal
Makes sense I was wondering if we would sign him, guy with experiences wont have a high salary forcing Gus to put him on the field as a starting WR like a Decker type player, has size and compete for a job.

Edit I see he lead the NFL in PR avg major plus, ST is a huge part of football

Quote:Good punt returner. Probably needed with Sanders seeing more snaps at receiver with Blackmon out.
Agree on all points.

ST's are becoming less of a huge part of football with the new kickoff rules that result in touchbacks on most kickoffs.

Yeah, I am just assuming Clowney wont be there, or he probably would be the pick.

They say his heart just up and quit the day Gabbert was traded away.

Kickoff rule changes do not affect the punt game that I'm aware of.

Huh

They do if you are trying to make the point that the Jags made another bad signing.    You know, his normal routine.

No, no they do not. That doesn't fit the narrative though.

Its more like a "nothing" signing than a bad  one.

Decent signing.Doss is young and could improve under a new staff. If things don't work out then just a release. No harm no foul.
